Role:
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Recruiter and Talent Acquisition leader to join our dynamic team. This role supports the organization’s human resources functions, including talent acquisition, technical recruiting, and ATS management. Excellence will be achieved by strategically and proactively sources passive and active candidates to build and maintain a quality talent pipeline for current and future workforce needs. Responsibilities:
Technical Recruiting
- Develop and own search strategies and deliver research against those strategies for executive searches across various technical functions (e.g., engineering, product management, etc.).
- Partner with executive leaders on high-profile technical hires, providing domain and market insights and trends, and advising executives on talent for their business needs.
- Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively.
- Builds and maintains relationships with potential candidates, recruitment agencies, schools, and associations.
Recruiting Operations and Compliance
- Extends offers and negotiates compensation.
- Initiates onboarding process for new hires.
- Contacts candidates to ascertain fit, and schedules interviews.
- Proactively leverage reputable professional associations and memberships to stay up to date on HR trends and best practices, as well as employment laws and regulations
ATS Management and Data Analytics
- Utilize talent analytics to optimize sourcing strategies and improve hiring efficiency.
- Provide hiring managers with real-time market insights and data to inform decision-making.
- Perform regular audits to maintain data integrity and compliance.
- Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting ATS issues and escalating to vendors as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems, services, and processes.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in technical, software engineering recruiting and/or healthcare recruiting.
- BA/BS preferred - SHRM, or AIRS certifications desired
- Knowledge of basic compensation practices desired
- Superior communication skills, including internal communications experience
- Project management and change management skills
- Demonstrated approachability and active listening skills
- Experience with ATS and HRMS platforms and reporting tools (e.g., [Trinet, JazzHR, Indeed, LinkedIn]).
